Keith Dorsette: Health, Wellness, Corporate & Podcast, One Sheet

KEITH DORSETTE
Founder, Celebrate Health  |  NCD Prevention Specialist  |  Combat Marine Veteran  |  TV Host

20+ years. Two continents. One mission: proving that prevention is not a philosophy — it is a deployable system.

  WHO HE IS

Keith Dorsette is a health advocate, NCD prevention specialist, life coach, and fitness pioneer whose work spans continents, government halls, and television screens. Over two decades he built his methodology on the ground — with real populations, in real communities, measuring real results.

In 2011, Keith partnered with Suriname’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to launch SAAF Camp — a national health and wellness initiative that earned recognition at the United Nations Summit in New York City as a world-class program. His television series replaced The Biggest Loser in Caribbean prime time and now airs every Saturday on Verizon, Spectrum, Optimum, and RCN. His book Celebrate Health is available in English, Spanish, and French, with Chinese, Arabic, and Portuguese editions in production for 2026. The foreword was written by the Minister Of Health Of Suriname, Dr. Celsius Waterberg. His CHEWA legislative framework — championed by NY Senator Kevin S. Parker — is working to embed NCD prevention into school systems at national and international scale.

A combat-decorated Marine Corps veteran and the nephew of jazz legend Max Roach, Keith carries a story that runs deeper than most. During his Gulf War deployment, the Associated Press distributed a photo of him playing saxophone on a sand berm in Saudi Arabia — as an AP Laser Photo it ran on the front pages of hundreds to thousands of publications around the world simultaneously. Peter Jennings and Dan Rather both featured him. CNN embedded Linda Pattillo — the first journalist attached to a special operations unit in combat — with his unit. He became known globally as the Desert Sax. He came home, stepped back from the hero circuit on his own terms, and spent the next three decades building something he could stand behind.
